The whole experience last for 45 mins in total, and consists of an induction, followed by some training to familiarise your group with the machines - and then once we are comfortable that you are all competent and able to control the segway fully, a trail through the beautiful Otway bush on our man made tracks.
In general, the Segway is very easy to master, but people's abilities do vary, and your safety is our main priority, so we will tailor the experience to suit the skill-set of your group.
The price you have paid includes all the required gear for your session, the hire of a Segway X2 Personal Transporter, plus an instructor for your group.
The Segway X2 has low-pressure tyres, scratch-resistant fenders and convenient fender frame lift handles allowing you to easily manoeuver a variety of terrains.
A hugely popular activity for everyone aged 10 or over. Our off-road X2 machines which feature larger tyres and speed capability than the road going versions are capable of turning within their own footprint, coping with off road terrain and feature a gyroscope used in many jet airliners! They are able to self balance when you step onboard and give a ride like nothing you have ever experienced.

A Great Day out in The Otways
Our facilities are second to none – our venue offers paintball, globeriding and Segway® tours - set in 52 acres of beautiful bush and just 40 minutes from Lorne, 1hr from Geelong, 30 mins from Apollo Bay, and 15 mins from Colac.
Our venue offers different scenario paintball games as well as our fabulously popular tournament style field - grab some mates, arrange your xmas function, bucks show coming up, or a corporate event - we can arrange it all for you!

Please ensure that you wear long trousers and closed toed flat shoes (boots or runners preferred) on the day. It is important that you are aware that there is a possibility that you may fall off the machine - but if you listen and do as your instructor advises, then the chances of this are massively reduced.
We keep our prices as low as possible to allow accessibility to all at all times.
We do allow spectators but they will not go out on the bush tour.
The only time that we cancel due to weather is on Total Fire ban days or days of extreme temperature. Rain does not effect a tour - we do provide you with wet weather gear and a lot of the bush tour is under tree cover.
Please be considerate of other people - it is your responsibility to ensure that you are on time as your slot is for 1 hour. If you arrive 10 mins late - your experience will still end on the hour as there may be a booking immediately after yours.
All participants are required to sign a waiver form and are fully aware, prior to taking part that there are risks involved with undertaking this activity.
